What's up guys and gals?! Today I'm coming to you in collaboration with the Australian occasion wear company Jadore! Jadore asked me to select a dress to style with their new JX Collection, and it shouldn't surprise anyone that I took the opportunity to look like a Barbie doll! Honestly, I think I had a Barbie doll back in the day that had this dress, and that's one of the things that drew me to it.
The peachy pink shade of gown is great for any skin tone, regardless of if you're a bronzed goddess or so pale that someone might mistake you for Casper the Friendly Ghost's cousin (i.e. me in the winter haha!) The cut is also immensely flattering; the bardot top is tight enough to keep itself up, but not so tight as to virtually tie your arms to your sides and the mermaid fit hugs your curves, but still leaves you free to sit, stand, and most importantly, dance, without restriction. There aren't a lot of bits and bobs on this dress, but what there is are beautiful pleats and grand ruffles, and those beautifully executed pieces are what make this dress a stunner!
I paired this dress with a pair of nude heels, but anything simple and strappy would look just as good! Wear a metallic heel to match with your accessories, or go matchy-matchy with a peach two strap set!
