What's up guys and gals?! It's 2017! I took a bit of a break from blogging to hang out with my family and friends, but I'm back with a vengence! Today's blog features a monochrome grey look, which looks a lot like the sky here in Los Angeles as of late!
This is the time of the year where I start trying to figure out how to wear my mini-dresses again without freezing my butt off, and one solid option is a leather jacket and knee high boots! The dress is a lovely backless knit dress from MissPap. It was only $10 (what a STEAL!) so unsurprisingly it's out of stock, but I've linked a very similar dress, also from MissPap, down below! The jacket is an old favorite of mine, (and I mean OLD, like at least 4 years, which is practically a millennium in fashion time), but I've done my best to find a dupe for it as well.
The dress was the perfect length to showcase my over the knee boots from LAMODA. These boots are a lovely cool grey tone and are stunning in their simplicity. When it comes to OTK boots, I've always gone for the classic black leather or tan suede, so this was a really refreshing twist!
The backpack is also from LAMODA, and how fun are all those different colored faux furs?! The bag is surprisingly roomy and the gorgeous statement zipper makes accessing the 45 lipsticks you inevitably have stashed away in there super easy! It's pretty hard to find a backpack or bag that really impresses me (I've become a bit of a bag snob, if I'm honest), but this is just so fun and carefree! Love it!
To add that little bit of extra bling, I added a bedazzled choker from...wait for it... LAMODA! Are you sensing a trend yet?! Haha! Even though the dress had a higher neck, I enjoyed the thought of having a little bit of sneaky sparkle peaking out.
