What's up guys and gals?! Today I bring you a blog from the classic California landscape – sprawling mountains. The place where I shot the photos for this blog as a piece of road that drops off suddenly into a ravine. It really gives the area a post-apocalyptic vibe. As I was standing on the edge of the cliff, with my hair blowing in the breeze like I had just stolen some fans from the set of a Beyoncé music video, I thought to myself, "I feel like a Wasteland Princess!" Of course, the mystique of the area would be shattered if you were to turn the camera around and see the suburban neighborhood and the park full of screaming children. But, I digress!
Today's look is brought to you by the babes at Pretty Pink Princess, who were awesome enough to send me this blue and white co-ord! I feel like I should mention now that this outfit works perfectly on the beach as well as in the wasteland! (Haha!). My favorite part about the co-ord, by far, is the maxiskirt with its two slits up the front. Can you say "Angelina Jolie Leg"?!
I've paired the two piece with a chunky necklace from L.V. Kiki. The top looked a little bare for my liking without a bit of bling.
Finally, I wrapped up the look with a pair of suede, fringe heels in Taupe. They help to elongate the leg while still allowing the co-ordinate to be the center of attention!
